Have you ever told someone you love them? Sure you have. During sometime this week, you will probably tell your wife, husband, mother/father, and your children that you love them. You may even have friends that you love and would do anything for them. But what about unconditional love?
The Greeks use a term " agape" which means love. Now how does that relate to unconditional love? The best example is the sacrifice Christ took at the cross. What he did was beyond human reasoning. Here was God, in human form, hanging on a cross to die. But he did it to display his love for us. By dieing on that cross, he paid every single sin for humanity. That's how much he loves us. John 3:16 is buried deep in my mind and heart: "For God so loved the world, he gave his only begotten son, for whosoever belief in him, shall not perish but have everlasting life."
On September 29, 2007 I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. He rapped me in his arms and gave me peace and joy. Something I never felt before, yet it felt wonderful and free. All the fears, doubts, burdens were gone. His love is something I will always cherish.
